Architect Tom Gannaway and General Contractor Rob Dodd of DLR Contracting unite to construct the newest retail and office building in the Cowan Crossings Shopping Center. Relocating into the space is ILM Corporation, as it enables them to take advantage of the HUBZone benefits. Heather Hagerman of Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite brokered the sale of the 1.0 Acre parcel.
ILM Corporation is currently located at 600 Lafayette Blvd. Fredericksburg, and specializes in document management and scanning services. Since 1976, ILM has provided expert knowledge while trailblazing innovation and philanthropy in their local Fredericksburg community. The upcoming expansion to the 15,000 sq. ft. building at 1551 Jefferson Davis Highway in Fredericksburg embodies the company’s mission to move beyond paper in providing exceptional service to their clients.
“ILM Corporation is excited to relocate its business to 1551 Jeff Davis Hwy as the new modern building allows us to incorporate new technology and systems that will directly benefit our clients,” states Jason Cohen, President of ILM Corporation.
President of DLR Contracting Robert Dodd adds: “We are looking forward to the construction of this building. The look and feel of it is unique and will make an impression for ILM and other tenants of the building.”
The new building of ILM Corporation will be delivered in Summer 2017. WW Webb and Associates Engineering is set to complete all engineering work for the construction of this building. ILM is planning on occupying the second floor and a portion of the first; Heather Hagerman and Donny Self of Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite are currently working on suitable tenants for the remainder of the first floor of the building. Both Hagerman and Self are handling the leasing efforts for 1551 Jefferson Davis Highway and the recently renovated 5,000 sq. ft. office building at 600 Lafayette Blvd which is also located in the coveted HUBZone.
