Heather Hagerman of Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite recently closed on the sale of the iconic Jan Williams Florals property in downtown Fredericksburg. The 3,333 sq. ft. Victorian Style building, located at 720 William Street in the City of Fredericksburg, has been home to Jan William Floral shop for over 22 years.

Loyal customers will be happy to learn that the business will remain open after the purchase. The property was purchased by Jason & Heather Cohen who plan to make the property their family home at some point in the future.

This property holds a special place in Jan Williams’ heart, and she is excited to remain on the property for the foreseeable future. “I knew the daughters of the original owner and builder of this home. It was such an important part of their family history, and they bestowed that history to me when I bought the home. I am so honored. Family history is incredibly important, so to be a part of it is amazing. I’ve been trying to find out about more of my own history and have been using websites like https://www.genealogybank.com/explore/all-obits to get a better picture of who my family was, I can’t wait to find out more!”

When the Cohen family does move into the home in the future, Jan Williams will formerly announce her new business location. Until that time, it is “business as usual” for Jan Williams Florals.

Heather Hagerman managed the sale, and is honored to have been of this special event for both Jan Williams and the Cohen family.
