Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite is awarded #1 CBC Office in Virginia

The year of 2013 was a great year for Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite as we claimed the #1 Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates office for the State of Virginia. The year has been busy as we began restructuring, re-branding and ultimately building the largest commercial real estate brokerage company in the greater Fredericksburg Region. This began in early January of 2013 when Silver Commercial Brokerage was acquire by Coldwell Banker Elite’s owner Kevin Breen to form Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite (see more on the story here).

Kevin Breen set goals and was heavily optimistic about the team and our capabilities, and after hiring Ben Keddie as the Managing Broker we clearly had a leader for our team. We began building a great Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliate company and set out for an amazing year. The hardwork and dedication of our team helped us reach goals that we weren’t sure were possible in our first year and we look forward to continued success and opportunity in 2014!


Special congratulations go out to a few of our Sales Professionals who took home prestigious awards for their performance in 2013. Without an amazing sales team, many businesses wouldn’t be as successful as they are. These professionals are the reason why many businesses take key employee insurance. They are inevitable for the company’s success as most of the sales and profits are the result of their track record of exceptional performance. Since sales persons entail the extraordinary skills to cultivated relationships with vendors and high-end customers, it allows them to exceed sales goals continually. For businesses, it’s so important to have a clear sales strategy to ensure the company is making enough revenue to continue its operations. There are a number of different sales strategies, such as the subscription revenue model, so businesses should be able to find one that works for their products or services. Sales teams will be able to determine the best method. Here are some of the awards our sales professionals received.

CIRCLE OF DISTINCTION SILVER AWARD:

Awarded to Coldwell Banker Commercial sales professionals who produce between $350,000 and $499,999 in Closed Adjusted Gross Commission Income for 2013. Donny Self was also recognized in the Top 2% of Agents Globally for Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates.

DONNY SELF, Senior Sales Agent

Donny Self began his commercial real estate career in 2005, working for Silver Companies. Mr. Self specializes in both tenant and landlord representation and has built a broad client base to include national and local customers. Prior to joining Silver Companies, Mr. Self was Vice President of Northern Neck Distributing Company.He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington, and is a native of Fredericksburg. Mr. Self is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a member of the Rappahannock Rotary Club. Donny Self has experience in retail leasing, landlord representation, sales & acquisitions and investment properties. Retailers he has worked and closed deals with include: McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Verizon, Hair Cuttery, Taco Bell, Firehouse Subs, Aaron’s Rents, Sport’s Clips, KoKo Fit Club, Quaker Steak and Lube, Richmond American Homes, Advance Auto, Bank of Lancaster, AutoZone, Nextcare Urgent Care, and Northwest Federal Credit.

HEATHER HAGERMAN, Senior Sales Agent

Heather began Commercial Real Estate career with The Silver Companies working under Jud Honaker’s tutelage in 2006. Wanting the opportunity to expand my inventory and deal source (prior to the development of The Silver Commercial Brokerage), Heather joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite in 2008. Her experience includes: retail leasing, office leasing, site selection investment sales and medical/dental leasing. I recently formed and led a team of four brokers to source and identify leased assets across the U.S. for procurement by a prominent investor and is now working with the team on locating additional assets for other investors. One of the biggest assets that she brings to the table is her marketing background. Having run a successful marketing agency for eight years, shes parlayed my marketing background into unique and effective strategies that go beyond what traditional brokerages typically do to procure tenants and purchasers. Some notable lease/purchase clients include Heartland Dental, Neibauer Dental Care, Fredericksburg Oral Surgery, Selling Power Magazine and Vivify. Some of her notable investment sales include a Corporate Verizon Retail Store, Wendy’s and an Allstate Call Center/Office Building.

OFFICE CONTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD:

PATRICK A. BADEN, Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite, Fredericksburg, VA

The CBC Global Award, CBC Office Employee of the Year award recognizes a CBC office employee (out of 280+ offices) responsible for propelling the growth of the office. This individual increases the office’s profitability, sales and marketing production, recruiting and retention efforts and is a leader as well as a mentor in the eyes of the professionals they engage with on a daily basis. This person focuses on one or more disciplines including finance, marketing, and office administration.

Patrick Baden is the Commercial Marketing Manager for Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite. He began his career with Silver Commercial Brokerage/Silver Companies in the summer of 2010. Mr. Baden specializes in market research and is responsible for creating, developing and maintaining all aspects of marketing analysis for the company. He is also responsible for providing marketing support to the sales team, as well as keeping property information current on the company website. Mr. Baden is a key asset to the commercial real estate team and carries a number of different responsibilities. He has worked with local and national tenants, assisting with Site Selection by developing competitive analysis, custom aerial map exhibits and by using demographic reporting ultimately determining the best locations for these clients. He also assists our team in creating “Win Business” Presentation and marketing materials to help agents acquire new listings. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite Mr. Baden attended Longwood University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management.
